Yes I was so excited about the Olympics I watched too much, I went into Olympic overload. I am ready for them to be over and track hasn’t even started yet. I can’t handle it!
My dsl started messing up
Posted by Rashida on August 9, 2008
So my DSL connection started going a little crazy last night when watching the last leg of the opening ceremonies. Needles to say the lighting of the torch was amazing.
I started watching the first day of competition and I realized another reason why I like the Olympics, besides the pageantry and air of competition, it’s the variety of sports. Unless you have a serious sports package on your cable or satilet services, what other times can one turn on the TV and see at any given moment, rowing, volleyball, soccer and weightlifting. Hard to find on the everyday. So this morning I really enjoyed the female weightlifting, the ladiies were small in stature but they were lifting some serious weight.
You go ladies.

The USA
Posted by Rashida on August 9, 2008
The United States just walked and they look dapper as ever in their blue jackets, news boy caps and white pants. I think I am just loving the jacket looks, most team that has had a blazer, I’ve loved. That’s going to be my next fashion thing, dapper blazers.
Lopez Lomong the middle distant runner is the USA flag bearer. I am inspired by his story. I can’t wait to see him run!
Love the Olympics!
There’s D-Wade,
Where’s Lauryn Williams representing the U! Cane for life! University of Miami baby!

“The Central African Republic is a republic located in central Africa” said Bob Costas
Bob has being saying that line since 1984 and it is still hilarious.

Japan looks good too. Japan has the oldest competitor in the Olympics, a 67 year old equestrian athelete.

oh Bob…

Bob Costas just said “most of these athletes arrive here realizing they have no real shot at a medal, so there is their moment here (the parade of nations),”
Bob Costas is a fool, lol
